A Former Gillispie Students Visits Early Childhood

A former Gillispie student was recently back on campus observing an EC classroom for her college Child Development course, and we were warmed by an email she sent us in regard to her experience:

Coming onto campus for the first time in over 5 years brought more joy to me than I have had in a long time. Gillispie was my life from preschool to fifth grade and I am who I am because of Gillispie. I was able to find my dedicated brick from the preschool class of 2002, and seeing all the staff that taught me when I was enrolled made me so happy. Being on campus gave me the realization that teaching is something I am now really considering doing with my life. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

We are proud of our graduates and are thankful for opportunities like these where we witness the wonderful individuals they have become years after their time at Gillispie.
