Gillispie Gives Back
A Legacy Of Giving
Service to others is embodied in our philosophy.
It all began during the Great Depression when a small cottage on our campus served hot meals to children in need. This spirit of compassion continues to this day.

Every year, each grade level tackles a real-world community service project.
Partnering with local organizations like the San Diego Blood Bank, Feeding San Diego, Lucky Duck Foundation, Urban Street Angels, and Ronald McDonald House, students put our Gillispie Values into action. By graduation, they'll have participated in up to 15 meaningful community service projects, developing empathy and a lifelong commitment to making a difference.

Because it takes a village...
Our faculty, staff, students, and parents join forces throughout the year for even more service initiatives. From beach cleanups to clothing drives, our community is committed to making a positive impact on San Diego and beyond.
