ONEGILLISPIE ANNUAL GIVING

FAQ’s

What is Annual Giving?
The ONEGillispie Annual Giving Campaign is Gillispie’s yearly fundraising effort that supports the school’s operating budget. Gifts help cover the difference between tuition revenue and the actual cost of a Gillispie education.

Why not just raise tuition?
We intentionally keep tuition as moderate as possible to remain accessible to a wider range of families. Unlike tuition, annual giving donations are 100% tax-deductible.

What does Annual Giving support?
Annual Giving supports the people and programs that define Gillispie, including:

  • Exceptional EC and Elementary faculty and staff (salaries and benefits comprise 75% of operating expenses)
  • Our highly regarded Early Childhood Outdoor Classroom with a full-time teacher
  • Student Learning Center with four full-time specialists for Language Arts and Math
  • Full-time counselor supporting social-emotional development
  • Full-time nurse supporting student health and safety
  • Secure and vibrant campus environment
  • Specialty classes such as PE, Music, Spanish, Science and Design, Digital Literacy, Library and Art
  • Ongoing faculty and staff professional development such as Responsive Classroom

How much should I give?
Every family is encouraged to give at a level that feels meaningful to them. Broad participation demonstrates our community’s shared commitment to Gillispie.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Gillispie School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Can I make a pledge or give later in the year?
Yes. Pledges can be made now and fulfilled any time before May 1, 2026.
