EARLY CHILDHOOD PARTNER TEACHER

The partner teacher is a constructivist educator with a deep respect for young children who is committed to their own lifelong learning. Early childhood educators at Gillispie School team-teach in nurturing, inquiry-based environments that meet the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs of young children. Teachers co-research topics with children and colleagues to create a curriculum that supports inquiry-based, experiential learning.
EARLY CHILDHOOD–GRADE 6 P.E. TEACHER

We seek a full-time PE teacher with a deep respect for children and a commitment to lifelong learning. Candidates must foster a nurturing learning environment and have experience co-teaching or working collaboratively with other educators. This is a co-teacher position working alongside another PE instructor, teaching early childhood children (ages 2-4) through sixth grade. Strong interpersonal skills, pedagogical expertise, a growth mindset, the ability to join our school culture, commitment to professional development, and flexibility are essential attributes. Responsive Classroom training is preferred.
