The toddler program is designed to develop the following areas: independence and self-esteem; appreciation of the arts; creativity and experimentation; problem-solving and conflict resolution skills and language and logic skills.

Once the children are familiar with the classroom environment, the focus turns to classroom themes and units on colors, shapes and counting. Learning centers in the room include art, blocks, sensory table, reading, dramatic play and science.

Creative movement and tumbling are incorporated in the curriculum. Throughout the week, children visit specialty classes including P.E., music and the library. Children take naps during the afternoon.
